As a young boy, Damian Priest idolized The Undertaker and his signature tattoo. This admiration led Priest to get his own tattoo of the symbol, reflecting his desire to emulate the legendary WWE star.
Inspired by The Undertaker’s iconic tattoo, Damian Priest decided to get one of his own during his childhood. This decision was driven by Priest’s deep admiration for The Deadman and his desire to follow in his footsteps.
During a recent interview Priest was asked about having any regrets on the tattoos and he said “I don’t have any regrets… and I say that because any of the regrets, I’ve covered. Going back to the same person, I’m not obsessed I promise, but the Undertaker, I actually did get his symbol tattooed in this skull, and then I started wrestling”.
He also stated, “Then I was like ‘probably shouldn’t have done that’. I remember a promoter was like ‘you might have to cover that one day’ so I went and tattooed this bat over it. The Undertaker, he’s going to hear this for the first time. He knows I’m a big fan of his and I’m sure he knows by now he’s the reason I even fell in love with this business, but no, everytime I speak to him I start stuttering and am just in awe.”
However, Priest decided to get rid of the tattoo out of respect for The Undertaker and his legacy.

The idea for the tattoo was his own, and he was surprised by the size of the tattoo before it was completed. He revealed that despite the pain, he loves adding more tattoos.
