Violent robbery targets the family business of Antonela Roccuzzo

According to reports, two thieves targeted the Antonela Roccuzzo family’s supermarket in Rosario, Argentina. The two gunmen intercepted the vehicle carrying money from their store in downtown Rosario. Antonela’s cousin, Agustina Scalia, was in the vehicle along with two employees.

Antonela’s cousin was going to deposit the money in a local bank when the robbery took place. Reports claim the unfortunate event happened swiftly and violently, as the attackers got out of their car and broke the windows of the vehicle carrying the money. The attackers fled with eight million Argentine pesos, equivalent to $22,500 USD.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported besides minor scratches. The police authorities were immediately informed about the scene. Lionel Messi’s partner Antonella revealed the details of the horrifying incident that took place in Argentina involving her cousin on her social media.

She wrote in the caption, saying, “Conscious of the times we live in, where every day there are so many injustices, I am grateful that it was just one more scare. Thank you for so much love these days,” on Instagram along with the photo.

Antonela Roccuzzo’s family business was targeted few months ago

Earlier this year in March, after an attack on Antonela Roccuzzo’s family-owned supermarket, gunmen left a threatening message for Lionel Messi. In that particular incident, two gunmen on a motorcycle fired dozens of bullets at the supermarket owned by Lionel Messi’s in-laws.

During this time, Messi was playing for the French side PSG and had recently lifted the World Cup trophy a few months ago. The attackers left a note for the players, which read, ‘Messi, we are waiting for you.’ However, no one was harmed in the event.

It was believed that the rising drug-related violence in Rosario was to blame, as one of those gangs was behind the attack. Security was provided to their family, although the motives remain unknown.
