Damian Lillard made one NCAA request after the NBA G-League’s collapse

Damian Lillard has been one of the greatest NBA players of the 21st century. Dame Time has been an 8-time NBA All-Star and is someone who has been on top of the game since more than a decade.

Lillard is currently signed to the Milwaukee Bucks, where he has proved his worth by showcasing intelligent gameplays and consistent scoring, along with some commendable leadership skills. Lillard recently spoke about the defunct NBA G-League Ignite.

Damian Lillard urges the NCAA to come up with a solution

Damian Lillard recently shared his thoughts on the demise of the NBA’s G League Ignite, a program that initially came up as an alternative to the college route but was shut down lately after running for just over three years. 

Lillard expressed his disappointment and said that he wishes there was something the NCAA could do for the young athletes, so they can have a better future and that they can’t just hop around.

“I wish there was something the NCAA could put in place so you can’t just hop around,” he said.

Damian Lillard’s recently passed the Hall of Famer Reggie Miller for fourth on the NBA’s all-time 3-pointers list. Miller spoke about Lillard on the occasion and had some high praise for the Bucks superstar.

NBA icon and 5-time All-Star Reggie Miller recently said that he would put Damian Lillard in a list of the top 10 best players of all time. Damian Lillard currently stands as number 41 on the NBA’s all-time leading points scorers list with 21,015 points in 836 games played. He has been widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the clutch by many NBA legends and analysts.

Miller also spoke about Lillard after Dame broke his 3-pointer record. He said, “Congratulations Dame on moving up the charts. I’ve always loved your mentality and approach as a shooter. You’ve put in the long hours required to call yourself one of the best in the world. Continued success.”

Damian Lillard is having an amazing season with the Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game. The Bucks currently stand at number 2 in the Eastern Conference are likely to get to the playoffs for the 2023-24 season. This might be the season that Lillard finally leads his team to victory and gets a championship ring.
