NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, aka The Big Diesel, is known for his outstanding performance on the basketball court. His love life, however, has been quite tumultuous.
He got divorced from Shaunie Henderson in 2011 and since then, has remained unmarried. Even when Shaunie got married to Keion Henderson last year, Shaq decided to remain single. But it seems like the NBA superstar has finally found someone he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
Shaq recently proposed to Memphis-based hip-hop artist Gloria Hallelujah Woods, aka GloRilla, during an episode of ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’.
When asked to choose his favorite artist from a list of Lil Baby, DaBaby, Lil Durk, and GloRilla, the former Lakers player chose GloRilla and popped the question: “GloRilla, will you marry me?” Though it was intended as a joke, it was not the first time Shaq had made such a proposal to the 23-year-old artist.
Back in December 2022, Shaq surprised everyone with his Instagram comment on GloRilla’s live stream, asking her to marry him. Although Shaq’s comments were clearly meant in jest, it is obvious that he has a soft spot for the young rapper. GloRilla’s fans are eagerly waiting for her response to the proposal, and it remains to be seen if Shaq was serious or just teasing.
Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest players in NBA history, and his larger-than-life personality has made him a fan favorite. Despite his high-profile divorce and reluctance to get married again, the basketball superstar has always been open about his love life.
Whether he was joking or not, Shaq’s recent proposal to GloRilla has once again caught the attention of his fans and sparked speculation about his love life.
