WWE has recently announced a high-profile anticipated match for their next premium live event WWE Money in the Bank 2023. The show will feature a Bloodline Civil War between Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa Vs The Usos. This match was a result of the recent WWE Smackdown edition, where Jey Uso also turned his back on Roman Reigns by attacking him and joining his brother Jimmy Uso in this War.
The announcement of the match has already let the fans wait for this Civil War clash between the brothers but maybe the company can add the father of the Usos Rikishi as a special guest referee to increase the anticipation of the match.
WWE adds Rikishi as Money in the Bank’s guest referee
The last appearance of Rikishi was during the retirement ceremony of The Deadman, The Undertaker. Following that the Former Intercontinental Champion hasn’t appeared on WWE television yet. However, from time to time, The Father of the Usos has given his reactions to the ongoing story of The Bloodline which seems like he is well aware of everything happening between the brothers.
As of now, there is no such confirmation regarding the addition of Rikishi in the Bloodline Story. This is currently a fan speculation & their wants. The WWE Universe also believed that Rikishi will return to serve as a problem solver between Bloodline but that didn’t happen at all. But we will have to wait and see that, whether the creative team could have the return of Rikishi to officiate the Bloodline Civil War match at Money in the Bank 2023.
Where is money in the bank 2023?
The next premium live event of WWE is set to take place at The O2 Arena in London, England. This will be the first Money in the Bank show to be held outside of the United States of America. Even, Nick Khan has plans to have multiple international premium live events in the upcoming years and MITB seems to be a part of it. Not only the Bloodline Civil War Match, but the show will also feature other anticipated matches which include – A World Heavyweight Champion match between Seth Rollins & Finn Balor.
Alongside the World Heavyweight title match, the show will also feature its traditional MITB ladder match for both Men and Women. Currently, LA Knight and IYO Sky are considered the winners for their respective Money in the Bank Ladder matches. It will be interesting to see how things will turn out of this premium live event.
