The “Best in the World” is scheduled to have his first match on December 26 at a WWE event at the prestigious Madison Square Garden (MSG). It has come to light that since Punk’s match was announced, ticket sales are soaring. According to numbers reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the December 26 show now stands at 14,884 sold tickets.

“Business is first. For me, I don’t think it was that tough. I’m happy that it got done. We have always found that when you can go out on your own terms, it makes it easier. I’m very excited about it,” Michaels said.
