“You and your papa scared” Jake Paul blasts Tommy Fury for cancelling press conference due to training in Saudi Arabia

After several fight cancellation rumors in the last month, Jake Paul officially announced the grudge fight against Tommy Fury, and the duo was supposed to face the media in the next week in Saudi Arabia.

The younger Fury has backed out of the press conference as he needs time to train and after hearing that the 26-year-old American posted a tweet labeling the Brit and his father as “scared people.”

“Tommy Fury is scared. Told my team he can’t make the kick-off press conference next week in Saudi Arabia because he needs more time to train. Thought you said you wouldn’t even have to train to fight me? You and your papa scared. #MikePerry”

There was a hashtag mentioning Mike Perry, who would be the standby fighter for the upcoming Magnum Opus event. So, fans got curious, and some started thinking that Tyson Fury’s half-brother might opt out of the fight again.

In the tweet the former Disney star even referred to an old comment of the Brit where he said he would not have to train to take down Jake Paul,

“The kid’s a novice, he’s never fought anyone good,” Tommy Fury said about Jake Paul at the MMA Hour. “He’s never even fought an eight round fight. He just doesn’t have the experience like I do, which is crazy to say because he’s been doing it his whole life, but people call him a professional boxer and they respect him as a professional boxer. So I would love to strip that title from him.”

“I wouldn’t even have to actually train for that fight. I would still train because I’m a professional, but I wouldn’t have to train to fight him.”

However, while confirming the fight, Tommy responded to the younger Paul’s tweet and called him a “Sweaty Goth.”

“The press conference can wait until I get to Saudi Arabia you fool. I’ll be there on the 16th. 3 weeks and it’s over you big stiff sweaty goth🤣”
