Arsenal fans voted Aubameyang as player of the year amid talks of new deal

Pierre-Emeric Aubameyang has been voted as the player of the year for gunners. 74% of the fans have voted in favour of their captain.
Like every season, the player had a very good season in terms of individual performance as he scored 29 goals all season for the gunners. Not only that, Aubameyang led an average Arsenal team to FA cup success this year.
The Arsenal forward just missed the golden boot this season as he finished with 22 goals, just behind Vardy’s 23 goals. Arsenal need such a prolific striker next season if they want to do good in the Premier League as well as in Europe.
Thus, Arsenal offered to extend the star striker’s contract but neither he nor his agent said any word regarding his extension. Several reports says that Arsenal have offered a 3-year-contract worth €250,000 a week to their captain.
It’s very likely that he will sign this contract as Arsenal have secured a Europa League spot after FA cup win. Thus with Alexandre Lacazette and Pepe upfront, we might witness another Player of trophy for Aubameyang next year.
