Boxing star Gervonta Davis released from jail following assault charge, issued ‘No-Contact’ order with victim

The destroyer in the ring, Gervonta Davis, has always been a top performer in the boxing arena, with a solid 93% knockout percentage while crushing every opponent he faced during his 27 appearances.

Last Tuesday, this 28-year-old got arrested on a charge of domestic battery, but the woman who filed the charge does not live with Davis.

During the incident, the woman called 911 several times while requesting help; she also pressed her car’s emergency button, which notified the Mercedes Benz help center.

“Please help me.” She told the operator while calling 911, “I need help, please. I’m trying to go home; I have a baby in the car who attacked me … He’s going to kill me.”

She accused Davis of hitting her in the face in front of her child, but Davis denied everything and tweeted that he didn’t hit her because he isn’t a monster who would hit a mother in front of her daughter, but the Baltimore native later deleted the tweet.

“I NEVER PUT MY HANDS ON MY CHILD MOTHER NOR MY F—ING DAUGHTER ARE YOU F—ING CRAZY!!”. IM NOT A MONSTER I BEEN QUIET FOR TOO LONG. … THAT’S THE ONLY REASON I’M DOING THIS NOW! JUST TO CLEAR MY NAME!”. Via ESPN

However, Wednesday, after the court’s hearing, Davis bailed out of jail and the judge issued a no-contact order with the victim; the bail was set at $1000.

Tank is scheduled to fight Héctor Garcia on January 7, 2023, in a PPV event to defend his  WBA (regular) lightweight title.
