Bray Wyatt’s return sends WWE fans into frenzy, White Rabbit QR codes and videos erupt online

It started three weeks ago, when short QR codes and Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit” started playing randomly during WWE live events. Since then, a series of hints and teasers have given birth to a lot of fan theories and left the WWE universe clueless. One of the few reported names to make a potential comeback was Bray Wyatt.

We caught flashes of the final “White Rabbit” teaser, which aired on the most recent episode of SmackDown. In the last teaser, fans were hinted at a possible surprise coming their way at the Extreme Rules PPV.

The WWE universe speculated numerous theories about a bunch of famous names returning to the ring. The NXT superstar Joe Gacy, former WWE sensation Aleistar Black, and the two-time Universal Champion, Bray Wyatt, were among the few names expected to be the “White Rabbit.”

The Extreme Rules was an action-packed event with hardcore matches. In the main event, Matt Riddle defeated Seth Rollins in a fight pit match, and as soon as the match ended, the lights went out. Out of nowhere, an eerie voice sang, “You’ve got the whole world in your hands.”

Moreover, random creepy masked men started appearing in different corners of the ring. After that, the firefly fun house puppet appeared and then in another video played, with a distorted voice saying, “Who broke the world?” —a familiar theme from the White Rabbit teases. This time it answered, “We did.”

This all built up to a glowing door on stage. A familiar figure with a blazing lantern emerged as the door opened. After much suspense, the much-missed superstar, Bray, unexpectedly returned!

In the aftermath of the show, many fans went crazy on Twitter. They were already anticipating a return of the Fiend. The payoff was on par with the expectation, if not better. As Wyatt posted a humble message to all those fans after the show, “This is why, I missed you too. “All of you”
