Former Marvel Comics Writer Hired As WWE Longterm Creative Director, Reportedly Behind White Rabbit Teases

It has been some time since WWE hired a long-term creative comics writer for themselves who can bring the company as good content as every entertainment fans want.

In a recent report from Fightful Select, horror writer Rob Fee, especially a former Marvel comics writer, recently joined WWE as the Director of Longtime Creative. However, Fee’s LinkedIn page shows that he started with WWE in September.

Rob Fee is mostly well known for his work with Disney XD’s top-rated show, Player Select. Despite being considered as a horror writer in Marvel, he had contributed to one-shot books featuring popular characters such as Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the Avengers and worked with stars like Will Smith, Ellen DeGeneres, and Ryan Reynolds.

As Fightful also mentioned, Fee’s also once pitched a movie based on Bray Wyatt’s “The Fiend” character. The idea was reportedly liked by WWE higher-ups.

That being said, Fee is also a big fan of WWE. So he knows what WWE’s fans want. What type of story do we like the most? That could be a big advantage for Flee’s WWE career.

As we can see, earlier at Fee’s wedding, John Morrison and Wyatt were there to see and celebrate the wedding, and later MJF gave him a special video massage as a gift. That shows how Fee was always connected to the bigger WWE family.

Fee’s reportedly working on the White Rabbit QR code teasers, so that could also be a help.

It’s also worth noting that WWE doesn’t like hiring WWE fans. But hiring Rob Flee wasn’t so difficult for the company as he might’ve shown his capabilities and pitched it to the WWE.
