British Boxer Amir khan’s £72k Watch Robbed at Gunpoint on a Night Out With Wife in East London

Former World Champion British boxer Amir Khan was approached by two armed men as he was crossing the street in East London, closely followed by his wife. The two men held a gun to his face and robbed his luxury watch, which was worth £72,000. The watch was a Franck Muller Vanguard Chronograph. Then the perpetrators got in their car and drove off. The incident happened around 9:15 pm in Leyton.

Khan said that he was left “absolutely terrified” by the incident, but assured fans on Twitter that he and his wife, Faryak Makhdoom, were safe.

A few hours before the incident, the Olympic medalist was pictured with a fan while shopping on Oxford Street with his flashy watch a part of his outfit.

Besides that, Khan was also seen wearing the watch at a charity event that he was attending at the Grosvenor House Hotel the night before. The watch which cost £72,000 had 719 diamonds studded in it. This has raised concerns that the former multi-division champion was specifically targeted for the robbery.
