Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes chooses his side in ongoing J Cole-Kendrick Lamar beef controversy

There has been a huge controversy between two famous American rappers, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. Fans were taking sides of their favorite rapper between the two. However, unexpectedly, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes also shared indirectly which rapper he is supporting.

The back-to-back Super Bowl champion recently hinted in a social media activity on which side of the beef he is on.

Patrick Mahomes takes a side in the J Cole-Kendrick Lamar feud

Patrick Mahomes took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share whether he is supporting J Cole or Kendrick Lamar.

The QB posted a tweet in which he wrote, “Cole” with two fire emojis. The tweet created a stir on social media as fans speculated that it was to support J Cole in his beef with Kendrick.

However, it was probably because Cole gave a shoutout to Mahomes in his song. Recently, Cole released an album and in his one song, Read 24, the rapper mentioned Patrick Mahomes.

“I am for the stars and hit sh*t was a long shot. I’m trying to make more bread and Patrick Mahomes Scot.”

Probably this song was the reason why Mahomes posted that tweet, as he wanted to give back to the rapper. But it also made fans think that the QB is taking the side of Cole.

The controversy between Kendrick Lamar and J Cole started after Kendrick released a song called Like That. It was a part of Future and Metro Boomin’s newly released album titled We Don’t Trust You. In the song, Kendrick dismissed the idea that he, Drake, and Cole are the ‘Big 3’ in Hip Hop. Fans believe that J. Cole fired back with 7 Minute Drill.

Mostly Patrick Mahomes stays away from dramas and controversies like these. However, as a huge music lover, the QB might have wanted to indulge in this one.
