Marquise Brown, the NFL wide receiver, is embarking on a new chapter of his career for the upcoming season. The WR played for the Arizona Cardinals for the last two seasons, demonstrating impeccable performance.

Chiefs adds Marquise Brown to boost Patrick Mahomes offense

In a surprising move, the Kansas City Chiefs have signed Marquise Brown. It was reported Thursday night that the free-agent wide receiver will join Patrick Mahomes to boost the Chiefs’ offense. Reportedly, he signed a deal worth $7 million and up to $11 million for the 2024 season.

Marquise, who was charged with criminal speeding in 2022 is considered a new weapon for Mahomes and is expected to help the team have another exceptional season. He is one of the highly talented wide receivers in the league.

During Brown’s final season in Baltimore in 2021, he had 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns. After that, he played with the Cardinals, where he had 118 catches for 1,283 yards and seven TDs during 26 games he played.

The Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, whose brother got probation in alleged assault also celebrated this new addition to the team’s roster by tweeting, a smile emoji showing excitement for Brown.

Considering the team has offered Marquise Brown only a year contract suggests they are going to test him and if he fulfills the expectations of the team then he will probably get an extension.
