Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ former $2.9 million Kansas City residence finds new owner in sale

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes already has a lot of achievements under his belt. At the age of just 27, he is already considered one of the best quarterbacks in the league. The QB is soaring high in the sports world with two Super Bowl wins and many other accolades.

Mahomes has signed a $450 million contract with the Chiefs and also earns through endorsements. The Texan is also known for owning luxurious properties, and one of his residences, which he listed a few days back for sale has now got a new owner. 

David Bradley III acquires Mahomes’ Kansas City house

David Bradley III purchased the house previously owned by Patrick Mahomes’ family in the Kansas City area. The property, featuring three bedrooms and three bathrooms, was sold to a trust under David Bradley III’s name.

Bradley is associated with various business ventures. He works within the family-owned News-Press & Gazette Co., a St. Joseph media company that manages several newspapers, radio, and television stations. He is also the owner of BERKS Group, a family office and private equity company operating in Kansas City.

The residence of Mahomes that he has bought is in the Sunset Hill neighborhood near Mission Hills. The property was handled by the Cami Jones Collaborative, a part of ReeceNichols, with Cami Jones leading the real estate transaction as the listing agent.

It is 4,300 square feet with three bedrooms and four bathrooms on 1.4 acres in a Kansas City suburb. Renovated by Mahomes and his wife, it offers a modern kitchen, family room with a fireplace, wet bar, wine room, office space, sun porch, pool with a spa, and a shoe room.

The property was listed for sale at $2.9 million. Mahomes had purchased it in 2019 for $1.9 million. It is a luxurious ranch-style house and well worth the price.

How many houses does Patrick Mahomes own?

Patrick Mahomes is the owner of three houses currently. He owns a penthouse, a mansion, and one more residence. 

He owns a downtown Kansas City penthouse, which is 1,800 square feet and has two bedrooms and three bathrooms. He bought it for $350,000, originally priced at $485,000. The luxurious mansion also has features like recessed lighting, wood-burning fireplaces, and three outdoor terraces. It was listed for sale at $550,000 in 2019 and re-listed in 2023.

Patrick Mahomes acquired an eight-acre vacant parcel in Belton, Missouri. Built a large residence with a pool, pond, football field, and a golf hole for his off-season practice. The final purchase price has not been disclosed.

He also owns a four-bedroom, seven-bathroom modern farmhouse-style property in Texas, purchased from the late Andrew Gissinger III’s estate. Bought for $3.37 million despite a listing price of $4.26 million. Features contemporary interiors, an infinity pool with a spa, a floating staircase, a wine room, and unobstructed views of the Vaquero golf course. Its estimated worth is $5.5 million.

The quarterback has earned all these properties through his hard work. Even this season, Patrick Mahomes’ team is playing incredibly well and recently won a game in Germany. Currently, the team has a bye week and then they have a grand matchup against the Eagles.
