The Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are once again pairing against the NBA star Stephen Curry at the American Century Championship golf tournament following ‘The March’ event in June. Unlike the last tournament, Mahomes has someone to fear in this event.
The two-time MVP established himself as a formidable troop on the football field following his two Super Bowl victories in the last four seasons, albeit the undisputed Middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez managed to scare the Chiefs’ weapon in the ongoing golf tournament.

Besides owning the boxing court, Canelo is an incredible golf player as well. He has previously played with some big names in the celebrity golf tournament earlier editions and earned heavy praise from superstar players like the New York Jets Aaron Rodgers and the Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry.
The Mexican fighter paired alongside Mahomes and the Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce. Nevertheless, he managed to fear the two-time MVP by showcasing some shadowboxing on the field and Pat hilariously took a step back seeing the veteran boxer. Alvarez posted the hilarious clip in his Instagram story with a laughing crying face emoji and tagged the Chiefs QB in it.

Who is playing in the celebrity golf tournament Tahoe 2023?
Besides Mahomes and Kelce, many other notable NFL stars played in this year’s ACC tournament including All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams, Pro Bowl quarterback Josh Allen, Hall of Fame running back Marcus Allen, Hall of Fame cornerback Ronde Barber, Hall of Fame wide receiver Tim Brown, and former All-Pro NFL running back Reggie Bush.
The 34th edition of the event featured many NBA players alongside Curry including Hall of Famer/analyst Charles Barkley, former All-Star guard/forward Vince Carter, former guard Dell Curry, and former NBA head coach Vinny Del Negro.
Former All-Star pitcher Derek Lowe, former MVP catcher Joe Mauer, and former MLB Cy Young award-winning pitcher CC Sabathia were some notable MLB players to participate in the tournament. Besides players, many analysts and entertainment stars also graced the golf event.
