During his appearance on Friday Night SmackDown on 8/12, CM Punk addressed the leader of the Bloodline, declaring himself as the ‘OG’ guy who was with Paul Heyman. The superstar went on to acknowledge the Tribal Chief, congratulating him on his success. Punk expressed that he was the first, even before Roman, to have Heyman as his wise man.
“Roman Reigns, tribal chief I acknowledge you, congrats on your success, don’t forget who the OG Paul Heyman guy is, don’t forget that he was my wise man first,” added CM Punk.

While the event was underway, Punk teased about joining the Royal Rumble and eliminating other 29 superstars, ultimately making it to WrestleMania. Punk’s return has garnered WWE more than 71 million views across all platforms, making it the biggest social post in its history. If Punk made it to WrestleMania he might challenge Roman Reigns for his title.
“DO YOU WANT ME TO THROW 29 OTHER SUPERSTARS OVER THE TOP ROPE AND THEN CLIMB THIS TURNBUCKLE AND POINT AT A SIGN AND MAIN EVENT WrestleMania?!” said Punk.
Since his return, there have been speculations about Punk’s future storyline. As one of the most loved and well-liked superstars in WWE, there has to be a great arc for ‘The Best in the World.’ Some fans speculate that Punk will fight Roman Reigns and become the new champion.
