Dana White talks about Conor McGregor’s return

As earlier, Conor McGregor and his team showed their desire to headline the UFC 300 main event. But Dana White hasn’t made the real announcement on the whole fight card yet. After constantly receiving rumors from the fans, the UFC President was constantly dodging the questions related to UFC 300 by not giving a clear answer.

Even his biggest star fighter got into a frustration situation for not being able to connect with the UFC and its team about the future of the former champ. Conor McGregor outburst with fiery words when White finally got in touch with 35-year-old Irishmen.

The UFC president instead came up with the statement, “We talked tonight. I’m in Abu Dhabi; he’s in Dubai. We’re going to figure something out. We’re talking.” on his Instagram Live. The hopes are still on, if not the headliner, but fans can expect to see a bout at UFC 300 for their favorite fighter.

Michael Chandler shares candid thoughts on bout vs. McGregor

Not just Conor McGregor but also Michael Chandler is waiting to make his comeback to UFC Octagon. Chandler’s return will also come after a long time after he faced defeat against Dustin Poirier at UFC 281. Michael also thought about having a UFC 300 event against the company’s biggest star, but Dana White is also 37 years old.

Chandler, with three losses to his name in the UFC’s five matches, still thinks the former Bellator lightweight champion can conquer the UFC’s lightweight championship belt. As a lot of rumors related to the Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor trilogy are spreading, “Iron” didn’t wait to share his views on what his expected opponent must be thinking.

Michael Chandler told MMA Fighting, “I think right now he’s trying to wait me out… I mean, because if you were him, would you want to wait as long as possible for the guy like me, who’s a real fighter, who wants to be in there, who wants to compete so that I say, ‘Screw it, I’m going to go fight someone else’ and then he can go fight an easier fight: Nate Diaz?”

As per the 37-year-old, Conor McGregor is looking for the easy challenge, i.e., free agent Nate Diaz. He also took a dig at McGregor, making a statement about fighting anybody.

Dana White has also yet to make an announcement about the UFC 300 bout but has not yet shown any interest so far in star Fighter. What do you guys think Conor McGregor’s future is with the UFC? Do comment on your views.
