“Dang i got old quick”: Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes jokes on feeling ‘aging’ amidst stellar NFL Career

After the NFL GOAT Tom Brady decided to hang up his cleats, the Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes looks all set to steal Brady’s place and ink himself as one of the most elite quarterbacks of the NFL.

However, besides breaking the records of the California Cool’s seven-time Super Bowl championship, Patrick cited his skepticism to have a prolonged career like the former Bucs’ QB’s 23 seasons mark. Amid the serious discussion, Mahomes recently pulled a hilarious joke about his age.

Patrick Mahomes’ reacts to AFC QB list

After being drafted by the Chiefs as the 10th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Pat spent his first seven years in the NFL.

NBC’s Sunday Night Football official Twitter handle shared a picture of all the quarterback’s experience in the AFC where the New York Jets’ new QB Aaron Rodgers is ahead of everyone with 19 years of tenure in the league and Russell Wilson and Jimmy Garoppolo are respectively in the second and third position.

Mahomes ranks fourth on the list alongside the Cleveland Browns signal-caller Deshaun Watson. The Chiefs’ 27-year-old QB couldn’t believe that he spent such a long tenure on the field and took to Twitter to crack a joke on this saying “Dang i got old quick” with ‘crying in laughter’ emojis.

Seemingly, the two-time MVP is having a hard time thinking of himself as one of the oldest quarterbacks in the AFC when he didn’t even reach his 30.

How many seasons has Mahomes played in the NFL?

Bronze spent his six seasons in Kansas City and became the youngest quarterback in NFL history to start in two Super Bowls, breaking the record of veteran star Russell Wilson, throwing for 24,241 career passing yards and 192 touchdowns compared to only 49 interceptions and completing 66.3% of his throws.

The Texas Tech gunslinger became the fastest QB in national football history to reach 10,000 career passing yards in just 34 career games, surpassing QB Kurt Warner’s records of achieving the feat in 36 career games and breaking multiple records of the current and past iconic players of the league.
