Since turning heel, he has been getting deafening reactions from the crowd with the WWE Universe not even letting him utter a word and drowning out his segments with boos. After reclaiming the NXT North American Championship on the latest episode of NXT, a picture of Dirty Dom with The Phenom Undertaker has gone viral on social media.

Dominik Mysterio has made multiple appearances on WWE programming over the years. He was notably a part of the Custody of Dominik match between Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio, a match beloved by fans. Being the son of a legendary Hall of Famer has its advantages, as he grew up watching and being around all the wrestlers his dad worked with.
WWE recently released behind-the-scenes pictures of Dominik Mysterio that provided a unique look at his interactions with other wrestlers, including a moment backstage at WrestleMania 39 in SoFi Stadium where he shared a moment with The Undertaker. This picture has gone viral and circulated widely on the internet, with The Undertaker’s wife, Michelle McCool, also present in the photo.
Dominik Mysterio triumphs over Trick Williams for NXT Title
Dominik Mysterio surprised the WWE Universe after defeating Wes Lee and was in the middle of an iconic reign before losing his title to Trick Williams at NXT No Mercy. Fans were wondering what’s going to be the future for Dirty Dom. The two wrestlers put on a clinic but it was Trick Williams who prevailed in a battle where Dirty Dom didn’t have any member of The Judgement Day by his side.
On the Raw after No Mercy, Rhea Ripley warned Dominik not to return if he doesn’t regain his title in a rematch against Trick Williams on NXT. It was also the first time since Payback that a member of Judgement Day wasn’t holding a championship. In a stacked NXT show where it was announced that John Cena and Paul Heyman will be appearing next week on Tuesday Night, Dominik Mysterio reclaimed his prized possession after defeating Trick Williams with the help of Judgement Day.
Dom-Dom’s North American Championship reign has certainly put more eyes on the NXT product which is thriving. He’s also had the best matches of his career against Dragon Lee and Trick Williams. Everything was looking great for Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams as the two best-friends were Champions only for a few minutes at No Mercy. But after Trick’s short reign of 3-days and Melo losing his title to Ilja Dragunov, it’ll be interesting to see what lies ahead for the duo.
