‘Doing all the right things’ Conor McGregor leaves flattering message to Paddy Pimblett following disputed victory vs Jared Gordon at UFC 282

Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett was seeing a meteoric rise in the UFC mirroring the likes of Conor ‘Notorious’ Mcgregor. Unfortunately for him, his legacy already has collected a black stain following his bout against Gordon. Amidst all the criticisms he’s receiving, there might finally be some support coming his way.

UFC 282 will be remembered as the fight card with arguably the worst judging the MMA world has ever seen. Jared ”Flash’ Gordon had fought his heart out but had all the judges score against him. Magomed Ankalaev dominated with severely damaged legs only to get a draw.

Pimblett seems oblivious to all the condemnation coming at him. When asked, he simply said, “Haters Going to Hate.” UFC president Dana White went to great lengths defending the British fighter. Now Conor Mcgregor has commented on the matter saying Paddy is ‘Doing all the right things.’

‘The Mystic Mac’ shows such sympathy probably because he had a somewhat similar journey. Mcgregor rose through the rankings pretty fast and managed to secure both the ‘Featherweight’ and ‘Lightweight’ titles in the UFC. But many of his wins were through knockout so there wasn’t a lot of room for questions.

Conor’s controversies began mainly after he made the fight against Khabib ‘The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov personal. From attacking the bus to insulting Khabibs family, country, and religion, he did it all. On his second fight against Dustin Poirier, he started with decent behavior but quickly changed face after a loss.

‘The Notorious’ has always had a soft spot for Paddy. The Irish superstar even took care of all bills when ‘The Baddy’ and ‘Meatball’ Molly McCann visited his pub. Which is probably why he came out in the former cage warriors’ support.

But will Conor’s words be enough to save Pimblett’s reputation? Hopefully, we find out soon.
