Eddie Hearn talks on Chris Eubanks Jr. vs Conor Benn

Eddie Hearn is known to be one of the best match makers in boxing history, with a record of putting on one of the best fights in boxing. He has been trying to make the Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn fight for the longest time. But the fight fell of the first time because Conor tested positive for PED’s.

In an interview with BBC Radio 5 live he said, “We have every intention to make it happen, Our side with Conor Benn and the side of Kalle Sauerland and Chris Eubank want to move forward and make that fight. We feel that because of the situation with Conor Benn’s suspension being lifted and winning that case that he should be allowed and able to fight in the UK”.

“We’re speaking to the British Boxing Board of Control. We think legally there’s no reason why he shouldn’t be allowed to fight in the UK but obviously it’s their decision. If we are not allowed to do that, we will hold the fight internationally but our preference of course is to bring that big fight to Britain.”

Chris Eubanks Jr.’s reaction to bout with Conor Benn

Chris Eubank Jr has been seeking a match against Conor Benn for a while now, but their first scheduled fight was derailed due to substance abuse when Conor tested positive for PEDs.
