”Every man has his limits…Don’t forget” Rey Mysterio issues stern warning to Dominik ahead of WWE WrestleMania 39 match vs son
Dominik Mysterio has been provoking his father, The legendary Rey Mysterio, for several months with the intention of having a match between the two at WrestleMania 39.
The highly anticipated clash is finally set to take place on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2, 2023, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Despite his son’s efforts, Rey has refused to fight him out of love and respect for his family.
However, during the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, something changed.

During Friday Night SmackDown, Rey Mysterio faced off against LA Knight in an intense single match that showcased both superstars’ skills. Just as Rey appeared to be gaining the upper hand, his son Dominik interfered.
Sparking a heated confrontation between the father and son. Despite a hard-fought battle, Rey was ultimately defeated by LA Knight after Dominik pulled his father’s leg, leading to a rollup pin.
Following the match, Dominik entered the ring and refused to accept Rey’s challenge. Causing his father to start leaving the ring. However, Dominik followed him to ringside, continuing their tense exchange.

During the post-match segment, Dominik continued to taunt Rey. Even insulting their mother, until Rey had enough and attacked his son. After a scuffle, Rey grabbed the mic and explained that Dominik had pushed him to this point.
Rey then shocked the audience by accepting Dominik’s challenge and announcing their match at WrestleMania 39. Making it a historic event as father and son face off in the ring.

During an eventful segment, Cody Rhodes emerged victorious in a singles match against Ludwig Kaiser, with The Bloodline members Paul Heyman and Solo observing from ringside.
Paul, accompanied by Sikoa, then issued a challenge to Rhodes for a one-on-one match against The Enforcer Of The Bloodline on Monday Night RAW, which Rhodes accepted.
In another notable moment, Kevin Owens hosted his “KO Show” in the arena. He presented a special T-shirt to former Honorary Uce with “Ko Mania goes Hollywood” emblazoned on it.
However, while Owens and his guest Sami Zayn were in conversation, The Usos suddenly attacked them. Jey and Jimmy Uso delivered a series of blows and kicks before quickly making their escape.
Later, Gunther, Sheamus, and Drew McIntyre signed the contract for their Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania 39. Following the contract signing, Butch attacked Gunther. Leading to a one-on-one match between the two in the ring, which Gunther won.
