Former UFC women’s flyweight star Paige Vanzant has been receiving a lot of hate from people online on her social media posts for gaining weight. Fans are commenting vile things about her in her comments section on YouTube and Instagram. Consequently, after bearing the hate for a long time, she has finally responded to all her haters by posting a video on Instagram.
Vanzant flaunted her body in this video and wrote a long caption explaining how she is tired of pleasing everyone and admitted that she has gained 20 pounds of weight. Apart from posting a reel on Instagram a few days ago, Paige Vanzant also uploaded a video on her YouTube channel.
The former UFC star clarified all the rumours of her being pregnant as she sat down with her boyfriend Austin Vanderford. She thanked all her fans and clapped back at the haters. The 29-year-old female fighter is a popular Only Fans model and earns millions of dollars. However, with the success and money, she comes across a lot of unwarranted hate from people on social media platforms.
What’s next for Paige Vanzant in her combat sports career?
Paige Vanzant last fought in the UFC in 2020 against Amanda Ribas at UFC 251. 12 Gauge suffered a brutal submission loss in that matchup. Following that fight, she decided to leave the promotion and take her talents to Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
Unfortunately, the 28-year-old fighter couldn’t find success in BKFC as well after she failed to win her first two fights against Britain Hart and Racheal Ostovich. Thereafter she had to pull out from her bout due to a leg injury. Currently, Vanzant has not stepped inside the ring for nearly two years and it seems that the BKFC President’s patience is running out.
With that being said, she could be on her way out from the promotion. Vanzant had indicated last year that she would love to fight in Bellator alongside her spouse Vanderford. It would be interesting to see what she decides to do as her fans are waiting to see her inside the octagon once again.
