Former Fox Sports Anchor Julie Stewart-Binks Sues the Network’s Executive for Sexually Assaulting Her

Just weeks after a Fox Sports hairdresser filed a lawsuit claiming Skip Bayless and Joy Taylor sexually harassed her, Fox Sports is back in the spotlight for another legal case. This time, former Fox Sports anchor Julie Stewart-Binks says a network executive sexually assaulted her in 2016.

Julie Stewart-Binks started working at Fox Sports in 2013. She covered big events like the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and Los Angeles Kings hockey games. Her career was going well, but in 2016, something happened that changed everything. She left the network soon after and now says it was because of a terrible experience.

Stewart-Binks has filed a lawsuit against Fox Sports and former executive Charlie Dixon, saying he sexually assaulted her. She took the case to Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming the incident happened in January 2016 during a meeting about the Super Bowl.

She says Dixon asked her to come to his hotel room to talk about work. But when she got there, he allegedly pushed her against a wall, held her arms, and kissed her without consent. She managed to escape and later reported it to Fox’s human resources. However, she says the network protected Dixon instead of helping her.

Now, Stewart is speaking out, hoping for justice. Her case is bringing attention to workplace safety and the need to hold powerful people accountable.

Fans slam Fox Sports over office safety for women

Fox Sports said the allegations are from over eight years ago and that they hired a third-party firm to investigate back then. However, they have not shared the results of that investigation.

Fans on social media are upset with how the network handles workplace safety for women. Many are angry and calling for more honesty and responsibility from Fox Sports.

Just weeks ago, another complaint was made involving Joy Taylor and Skip Bayless, but the network has not shared any findings yet. Now, with this new case, fans are even more frustrated and demanding answers.
