Former UFC champion Jan Blachowicz skeptical of Jon Jones’ much-touted return

Jan Błachowicz is a Polish MMA artist who currently competes in the light heavyweight division of the UFC. John had previously won the vacant UFC light heavyweight title while fighting against Dominick Reyes at UFC 253 but lost it to Glover Teixeira at UFC 267.

Blachowicz has an MMA record of 29 wins out of 38 fights and nine losses. The first male Polish champion is the current No. 2 ranked UFC light heavyweight fighter and one of the worthiest title contenders.

In a recent interview with Middle Easy’s James Lynch, the 38-year-old explained why he believes former champion Jon Jones will not return to the ring.

“I don’t believe Jon Jones will be back to fighting anymore. I believe he is afraid of losing too much and will go to any length to avoid returning. There was a time when he completely dominated our division. After a couple of years, everybody caught his level, and it was hard for him to do well in the fight. Like Dominick Reyes, it was a very, very close fight.”

Jon “the controversial” Jones is a phenomenon in the light heavyweight division of the UFC. The youngest champion in UFC history has appeared in 28 MMA events, secured 26 victories, and been undefeated since 2009.

The two-time UFC light heavyweight champion has always been in the news because of his out-of-ring activities like hit-and-run cases and taking illegal substances. He had to relinquish his titles several times and was suspended once for such immoral behavior.

Jon Jones last appeared in the octagon at UFC 247. Fans are eagerly waiting to see his return, as it seems they have to wait a bit longer to see their favorite superstar, Jon Jones, secure another staggering victory in the octagon.
