Former world no.1 Naomi Osaka announces her life update ‘pregnancy’, eager to make her return at Grand Slam season 2024

Concern was expressed when Naomi Osaka said she will not be participating in the Australian Open earlier this month, but the reason for her absence at the first Grand Slam tournament of 2023 has been revealed: Osaka is expecting a child.
The highest-paid female athlete posted what she called “a little life update for 2023” on social media, including a picture of an ultrasound.

“The past few years have been interesting, to say the least, but I find that it’s the most challenging times in life that may be the most fun. These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I’ve dedicated my life to.”- Osaka posted.
“I realize that life is so short, and I don’t take any moments for granted, every day is a new blessing and adventure. I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘That’s my mom,’ Haha.”- she was over the moon.

Naomi Osaka is dating American rapper and musician Cordae Amari Dunston, and the couple has been holding hands since 2019.
The Japanese Tennis Player intends to return to the court and is considering the 2024 Grand Slam as a potential return date.

“2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me, and I hope I’ll see you guys in the start of the next one because I’ll be at Aus 2024.” She concluded, “Love you all infinitely,” with a red heart emoji. In a postscript, she added, “Sidenote: I don’t think there’s a perfectly correct path to take in life, but I always felt that if you move forward with good intentions, you’ll find your way eventually.”- The former number one finished her post.
