Former WWE ‘Tough Enough’ winner Sara Lee dead at 30

Sara Ann Lee has been a familiar face on American television. Although the former WWE diva showed immense potential, she failed to become the face of the company. Her lone notable triumph was winning the sixth edition of the WWE female “Tough Enough” competition in 2015, which earned her a one-year extension from WWE, however she bid farewell to professional wrestling in 2016.

Unfortunately, the former professional wrestler is no longer with us today. The mournful news was confirmed  through a social media statement from her mother. Terri Lee posted about the news on her Facebook account with the hope that everyone would pray for her grandchildren and late daughter.

“It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus. We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete. We ask that you respectfully let our family mourn. We all need prayers, especially Cory and her children.”

The cause of her death still remains unknown. The former WWE star only managed to appear in eight matches for the company’s NXT brand. Sara married fellow NXT star Wesley Blake. Together the couple had three kids together: two boys and one girl. The fact that her three children will grow up without a mother is even more painful.

Fans are devastated after hearing the news, they have expressed their prayers from all over the world. One fan wrote, “Our sincere condolences to you and Terri and your families. Words seem inadequate.”

Another fan commented,

“Sorry to hear this heartbreaking news — my condolences to Cory and all family members and friends involved.”

Sadness surrounds death at any age; young talent like Sara Lee will live on forever.
