“I Let Them Bite Me in My Legs’’ Iron Mike Tyson Reveals How He Used to Spend time with His Pet Tigers

Reminiscing about the past, Mike recently revealed on the Joe Rogan podcast that he even let his 3 white Bengal tigers bite him in the legs while playing.

One of the best heavyweight boxers of all time, “Iron” Mike Tyson has had his fair share of controversies. From biting off Evander Holyfield’s ear, and assaulting charges, to failing drug tests, Iron Mike has had a wild personal life and career.  Mike Tyson has adopted a much calmer approach, far removed from the life he had during his wild fighting days. Reminiscing about the past, Mike recently revealed on the Joe Rogan podcast that he even let his 3 white Bengal tigers bite him in the legs while playing.

Iron Mike was as brutal inside the ring as he was wild outside of it! He brought the Bengal tiger cubs while in prison in the early 1990s. Talking to Joe Rogan, Mike added that he used to wear a mask behind his head so that the tigers did not think that he was running away from them and pounce on him.

Infamously, a trespasser was mauled by one of his tigers, and Mike paid out a hefty fine of $250,000 to the victim. In recent interviews, the now older and “wiser” Mike has regretted his decision to keep extremely dangerous wild animals as pets.

In another interview, He said “I loved them – I used to sleep with them. I’m just happy I educated myself that I was doing the wrong s***.”, And further added that  “I shouldn’t have had them in my house, I shouldn’t have had them domesticated. I believed they were domesticated. I was wrong.”

Many years removed from his fighting days, Iron Mike keeps his legacy alive with stories of the craziest of antics from his younger days.
