Following his sensational victory over Canelo Alvarez in May of last year. Dmitry Bivol and his manager Vadim Kornilov were totally open to the notion of a rematch with the Mexican superstar, this time though in the super-middleweight class.

While Alvarez has indicated an interest in a rematch, Bivol’s management recently restated Bivol’s stance that he took immediately after the Russian fighter defeated Alvarez in the ring.

According to Kornilov, Bivol may be willing to step into the ring with Alvarez again in September 2023, but some conditions must be met. According to Kornilov, Bivol needs a convincing cause to face Canelo again.
