“I will put him to sleep” Jake Paul vows deliver embarrassing KO defeat vs Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia

It is an unfortunate reality that trash-talking has become almost an integral part of combat sports today. For fans, this can be mere entertainment but for fighters, it’s the ‘fight before the fight’ that they sometimes try to win. The Paul vs Fury fight has also seen a similar leadup to the actual fight.

Recently, the ‘Problem Child’ posted a video on his Twitter with the caption, “I will knock him out. And then they will still say I’m not a real boxer. You have to believe in yourself. Don’t let anyone detract you from your goals. 3 years in and I am just getting started. 22 days to The Truth,”

In the video, he can be heard saying, “I will knock him out, I will embarrass him, I will put him to sleep. I’m the best in the world. I’m the best boxer in the world. I, Jake Paul will knockout, defeat, and embarrass Tommy Fury, on February 26 live in Saudi Arabia,”

How is the Paul vs Fury fight currently looking?

Well, the fight can be labeled more as a Jake Paul vs the entire Fury family match-up. Both Tyson Fury and John Fury have been talking up this fight and Jake has even hit back at them several times. The young Paul also went as far as to reveal the news of Tommy’s unborn child ahead of the couple.

But we have to remember that ‘TNT’ admitted to taking this fight for the money and he had already pulled out twice from the fight citing different reasons. If he fails this time around, not only will he bring shame to his family but the entire world of combat sports will get an embarrassing message.

Jake has previously brought forward washed-out fighters like Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren, and Anderson Silva. Let’s hope he can’t do the same against Tommy Fury on February 26th.
