“I’d Have a Nice Knock off This Guy” Conor McGregor Ready to Take on Chandler after the Win against Ferguson

Connor McGregor has responded to Michael Chandler’s callout following the American’s spectacular knockout victory over Tony Ferguson at UFC 274.

UFC 274 had some epic fights on the card, and one such fight was Micheal Chandler vs Tony Ferguson.  Both of them were coming off of consecutive defeats, putting a lot on the line in this fight. The first round was highly intense, with many tipping Tony to have won it. But that did not matter in the second round as Chandler knocked him in spectacular fashion with a leg kick to the jaw. Ferguson fell to the ground immediately, and it took him a while to regain consciousness. Many people on social media are considering this knockout one of the best, if not the best knockout, that they have ever seen.

Following such a spectacular performance, it is out only fitting of Chandler to call people out. One such name on his list was the former two-division champion and UFC poster boy Connor McGregor. McGregor has been out of action ever since he broke his leg in his defeat to Dustin Poirier. As McGregor gets closer to match fitness, one topic of speculation has been who his opponent is going to be. Chandler put his name in contention with the call-out, and Connor was very quick to respond, ” I’d have a nice knock off this guy, no doubt about it. A firework spectacle. I like the 170 shout also. Tipped him over. I’m definitely game to fight this guy at some stage in my career.”
