Lakers’ Anthony Davis drops comical take on LeBron James remarkable career span

LeBron James is currently the oldest active player in the NBA about to step into his 21st season in the league. Even at the age of 38, the NBA legend continues to dazzle the courts against younger opponents just like the ‘King’ he has been for over two decades now.

LeBron is still considered to be one of the best players in the NBA although some sources have not included him in their list of top ten current best players in the NBA. LeBron’s hard work and longevity are what makes him great. In a recent interview, LeBron’s fellow teammate Anthony Davis dropped a comical take on LeBron’s remarkable career span.

Davis hilariously reacts to LeBron’s longevity

LeBron James has really been in the league for a long, long time. When the question of LeBron’s longevity popped up in the recent preseason post-game interview, Davis and LeBron shared a laugh.

“Where were you in ’05?”, LeBron asked Anthony Davis.

“Were you in like the third grade or something?”

“Fifth grade,” said Davis, sitting next to The King, after the Lakers’ 129-126 preseason victory over the Brooklyn Nets in Las Vegas.

“I’ve been here for quite a long time playing ball,” said LeBron, as he and Davis kept laughing. Davis’s hilarious reaction brought a smile to the face of basketball fans all over the world. It was a heartfelt moment which shed a light on Davis and LeBron’s friendship. There is a lot of love among the Lakers team members. They all practice, hang out and have fun together and make the hard work look easy. Bron guides his teammates and helps them in achieving their full potential.

How long have AD and LeBron played together?

LeBron and AD make a great pair. Both come out on the court and try to give their best for their team. When healthy, both make a deadly pair with whom opponent teams feel afraid to clash.

LeBron James has played 144 games in his career with Anthony Davis. They have won one championship together and are aiming to win more. The Lakers have more chances of winning when both Davis and LeBron are healthy and playing.

One or both superstars have been injured for long stretches of the three seasons since their 2020 bubble championship, and the Lakers’ road back to contention has been incredibly rocky because of it. The entire roster around them has been completely changed since that ring, but James and Davis are still playing for the Lakers, still fighting. Now that they are healthy and happy, the dynamic duo will play with full power and potential.
