Prosecutors announced on Tuesday that the surveillance footage from the lounge contradicts the account provided by the complainant. ” The video does not show any signs of assault,” the prosecutors stated.
Furthermore, officials mentioned that there were no other witnesses who could support the alleged victim’s claims. Even a friend of the complainant, who was said to be present with Beckham and the woman during the incident, did not witness any assault.
Prosecutors have claimed that there is not enough evidence prove the player has assaulted the woman which means he is not face any criminal charges. Beckham consistently maintained his innocence throughout the process, and the owner of the restaurant, John Terzian, dismissed the claims as baseless.
With the dismissal of the accusation, Beckham can now fully focus on his performance for the Baltimore Ravens, as he aims to return to the field following his ACL tear in Super Bowl LVI.
