latest on UFC 282 fight card: Joaquin Buckley vs Chris Curtis set for the event

After a bout between the hefty 185-pound knockout artists was set, the heavy weight UFC fighter Joaquin Buckley returns to confront Chris Curtis. In two months at 10pm, the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas will host the UFC 282 event. After the Curtis management announced it on Saturday night, the bout was verified by MMA Junkie and other sources.

This indicates that Joaquin Buckley will fight a fourth time this year. Following his loss against Nassourdine earlier this month, Buckley went on a three-match winning streak, which included two stoppage victories, earning him performance of the night honors.

Curtis also had  previously lost against Jack Hermansson in a unanimous decision.

After a heated conversation in June where Curtis accused Buckley of being a snake .Curtis  added that he was ranked higher than Buckley in any poll and the snake was nowhere near his radar. This means it might be a much anticipated fight the viewers are waiting for.

With this fight the additional UFC lineups are:

  • Robbie Lawler vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio
  • Dricus Du Plessis vs. Darren Till
  • Chris Daukaus vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik
  • Joaquin Buckley vs. Chris Curtis
  • Dalcha Lungiambula vs. Edmen Shahbazyan
  • Alexander Hernandez vs. Billy Quarantillo
  • TJ Brown vs. Erik Silva
