Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is out of football for a couple of weeks, but his recent heated relationship with his brother Mathias has turned into a new twist for the fans as Mathias Pogba blackmail issue forced the police to jail him.

According to a source from France, Mathias Pogba has been brought before a judge in reference to the alleged blackmail attempt made against his brother, former Manchester United star Paul Pogba.

Mathias Pogba’s police detention has reportedly been removed, and he was scheduled to be taken to court in Paris on Friday night, according to a French news source and four persons were detained by the police on Tuesday and Wednesday in connection with an alleged alleged conspiracy against Juventus player Paul Pogba.

In connection with an alleged effort to extort his junior brother Paul, Mathias Pogba was detained by police in Paris on Wednesday and the Juventus player claims the group demanded €13 million (£11.2 million) from him in “protection money,” which was basically worth €1 million (£860,000) year from the time he turned professional at the age of 16.

Pogba, who is currently playing for Juventus after switching from Manchester United to them in the summer on a free transfer, gave the gang €100,000 (£85,000) in March after being led under guard to a residence in the eastern Paris neighborhood of Roissy-en-Brie.
