Myles Garrett injury update: Cleveland Browns DE’s agent provides optimistic update on player’s condition, sends appreciation for worried fans

Cleveland Browns are going through an obscure situation, simultaneously beating their bitter rivals Pittsburgh Steelers in Thursday Night Football and having their one of the most valued players Myles Garrett injured in a car crash.

Garrett is an important cornerstone for the Browns, who’s been named to three Pro Bowls and two first-team All-Pros during his NFL career. He as an defensive end, is a slayer in the field, posing onerous challenge for the opponent. He had a great start of this season  as the highest-rated defensive end in the game.

The star DE has faced a car accident on Monday afternoon while leaving practice. The Browns released an official statement about Garrett’s injury on twitter, confirming that the player had a shoulder sprain, biceps strain, minor lacerations and some bumps and bruises.

Myles was heading southbound in his 2021 Porsche on State Road when the vehicle went off the right side of the road, overturned and landed in a ditch, while trying to save an animal on the wet road. A female passenger was accompanying Garrett and both of them were wearing seatbelts.

They were both taken to the local hospital immediately after the accident and no factors of drug or alcohol were found.

Luckily, the injury is a minor one and the Browns DE was discharged on Monday night from the hospital. His agent Nicole Lynn has expressed gratitude towards the concerned bodies in a tweet.

Although the team mentioned in their statement that they hope to have Garrett back vey soon, his participation in the scheduled game against Atlanta is still uncertain and his status remains questionable for week 4. it will depend on the improvement of his health condition.  His fans and well wishers hope that he will recover from the injury really soon and they are eager to get the star back on the field in no time.
