NBA trade rumors: Lakers targets Bojan Bogdanovic by sending Patrick Beverley on hot seat following Rui Hachimura trade in

The Los Angeles Lakers have finally shown some notable activity in the trade window as they traded shooting guard Kendrick Nunn to the Washington Wizards for a forward named Rui Hachimura a couple of days ago.
Kendrick Nunn had a poor run in his two-year stint at the Lakers, scoring 6.7 points per game this season.
The trade will definitely strengthen the team; however, the Lakers are still looking to widen the wingspan further. They are now eyeing another former Wizard.
As the trade deadline approaches, the Lakers are waking up in the trade window. They have time until February 9 to sign their anticipated former Wizard player.
What is the latest trade rumor regarding the Los Angeles Lakers?
The Lakers are looking for the Detroit Pistons small forward Bojan Bogdanovic instead of point guard Patrick Beverly. The 33-year-old Bojan is a suitable backup for superstar Lebron James, as the team depends upon James’ performance a lot this season.

As the speculation circulated, the Lakers wanted to take some pressure off their key player, and with Anthony Davis’ return, Bojan will add more efficiency in the wing attack with LeBron.
Bojan has an incredible record this season for the Pistons, scoring 21.5 points per game, 49% of which came from field goals, 42.3% from three-pointers, and 88.2% from free throws in 46 appearances. His scoring ability and conversion rate are exactly what the Lakers need now.

On the other hand, Patrick wasn’t as bright as in his first season with the Lakers. He scored only 5.9 points per game with an average of 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 38 appearances this season. In my opinion, trading him for Bogdanovic will be a win for the Lakers.
But the Pistons will not let the 6.7-foot Croatian go at any cost, as they might negotiate for at least one first-round pick in the next NBA draft and the Lakers are not going all in for Bogdanovic until the time comes.
