“We need him” Erik ten Hag chooses star forward to stay at Man United amid PSG’s interest rumors

Eric ten Hag has navigated the ship at Old Trafford as the English supergiant has finally unleashed their true color and they are firmly back into the title contention is like music to the ears among the fans.

Marcus Rashford is instrumental to Manchester United’s success and the Englishman is in red-hot form after scoring nine goals in his last nine outings across all formats for the Red Devils.

PSG is looking forward to exploiting their options during the winter transfer window and Marcus Rashford is on their radar as the French club is hopeful to strike a deal with the Carrington academy graduate.

Ten Hag is desperate for Rashford to stay with the club, perhaps a little bit concerned over the PSG rumor as the Ligue 1 champions are known for their money-splashing. When asked, the manager wished not to say a word about it and discussed the importance of Rashford to their team.

“I think he understands Man United is his club, that’s first. But also, in this environment, in this team, I think he is playing his best football. Then, I would say this is the best place to be because we want to construct the best team, first in England, then in Europe, then in the world.”- Ten Hag told to Daily Mail report.

“He is improving and that is about him because he is giving 100 percent energy. I think also in this team he can bring his qualities. This team is constructed so that his qualities come to the fore, and I think he knows that. But definitely, he is important for us and if we want to get the success we want, we need him,”- The Dutchman further added.

Rashford is firmly a fan favorite and an icon to Manchester United and the Red Devils see their future captain in him.

It will be interesting to see if PSG can pull off the move and bag the United no. 10 to their side which seems very unlikely but possible.
