Nico Rosberg issues warning to Red Bull’s Max Verstappen before Singapore GP

As per GPfans, Nico was talking to Sky Sports’ F1 Podcast, in which he stated: “We can start with Singapore, because it’s just such a challenging weekend and if it rains and things, it’s such a difficult track”.

He further commented on the qualifying session and how they need to change their car setup in accordance with it: “A lot of mistakes, it’s very easy to make mistakes. Also, qualifying, to get that right. It’s high downforce.”

Indeed that is the case because, to maximize performance, drivers follow a racing line very close to the barriers. Nico seems to be well aware of the fact, being a former champion himself.

How Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton likely to have an edge over Red Bull at Singapore GP?

Mercedes has been consistently better this season, despite the difficulties they have faced from the rule changes. They have managed to secure the Pole position once this year due to the efforts of their wonder boy Lewis Hamilton. These performances have made Lewis optimistic about how the high downforce wing of their car manages to produce good results and in that case, it will lead to quite a show in Singapore GP.

“Singapore is all high downforce and, when we put our high downforce wing on, we generally are a little bit better,” a determined Lewis Hamilton stated.
