PSG ultras claim to boycott all matches amid protests against Lionel Messi and Neymar to exit the club

Ultras are passionate and dedicated supporters known for their fervent loyalty to their respective teams. Lionel Messi’s move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) from Barcelona generated significant anticipation and excitement among football fans, including the ultras. However, the relationship between French Champion team supporters and Aregentine Magician has deteriorated over time and now Paris Saint Germain ultras have threatened to boycott all matches of the club as Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr.demanding their leave from the club.

The ultras of the French club have stated that they would not be attending any games at the Parc des Princes or in away games until further notice.

Lionel Messi and Neymar told to leave by ultras

On Wednesday, a group of PSG ultras gathered outside the club headquarters asking for their full resignation. They also criticized Lionel Messi as well. Hundreds of people gathered with megaphones, fireworks, and placards demanding that the player leave. They even insulted him in flawless Spanish.

Fans were outraged when the Argentine legend traveled to Saudi Arabia without permission. He has also allegedly chosen to quit the club at the conclusion of the season, which has added to the hostility between the two sides.

Fans also did not spare Neymar. In a video uploaded on social media, several fans gathered in front of the Brazilian’s home with megaphones, flares, and banners, expressing their displeasure with the star’s performances and recent injury issues.

PSG has subsequently slammed the supporters’ conduct, calling them “intolerable” and “insulting.”

The Parisians are clearly furious with Messi and Neymar, two of the club’s renowned offensive trio. They are upset at the lack of Champions League success at the club even after spending so much money. They are now taking out that anger at both Messi and Neymar.

Messi has offers from both Al Hilal and Barcelona. Meanwhile, Neymar could make a move to the Premier League.

What did the PSG ultras say?

As a result, the Collectif Ultras Paris, the ultra’s group, has announced that they would cease all operations, including attending matches.

In a statement on Twitter they revealed, “At the end of the meeting between the club’s management and the leaders of the Collectif Ultras Paris, the CUP office decided to completely cease our activities.”

“We will therefore no longer be present at the Parc des Princes or on the move. The latest events at the state of our common relations with management lead us to believe that this is the best and only solution likely to preserve a common future. We are waiting for clear answers from the club on several points in order to possibly review our positions.”

This season, PSG has four games left. On Saturday, they will play Ajaccio at Parc des Princes. After completing the suspension by the club for his travel to Saudi Arabia, Messi should be eligible for that game.

After that, the Parisians will go to Auxerre on May 21 and Strasbourg on May 27. On June 3, they play their final game of the season against Clermont Foot.
