In September 2023, WWE released several superstars like Matt Riddle, Dolph Ziggler, and Mustafa Ali as a cost-cutting measure. The decision was made because many of these wrestlers were not being utilized. Among them, one superstar is transforming into a ‘Randy Orton’ look-alike, generating excitement among fans.
Mustafa Ali shows off Randy Orton-like transformation
Mustafa Ali is one of the superstars who left WWE, after the company decided to part ways with its wrestlers. Although Ali never made it big on the main roster, it seems that WWE might have been hasty with their decision. The superstar had a 90 day non-compete clause, and now that Ali is a free-agent, he is making a Randy Orton-like transformation.
Ali’s last premium live event was at Night of Champions, where he fought Gunther. He never wrestled in the blue brand of WWE since the June 9, 2023, episode of WWE SmackDown. At that time he had a qualifying Match for the Money In The Bank Ladder match, where Santos Escobar defeated him.
After that he was shifted to NXT where he wrestled most of the time. Mustafa is set for his first wrestling show since WWE and he will be appearing next year 2024 for a match in London for PROGRESS Wrestling. And as per reports, alongside him some other fellow former WWE superstars will also attend the event.
Kurt Angle comments on Randy Orton’s physique
WWE superstar Kurt Angle recently shared his opinion on the The Viper as the superstar made his comeback after a time of absence. Kurt Angle recently shared his thoughts on his podcast, the Kurt Angle show. The four times WWE champion had his fair share of gym training during his time but he expressed his view on “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles and the master of RKO Randy Orton about how dedicated they are to their physique.
He said, “These guys are looking really strong lately. I know they have a wellness policy, so I don’t know. I don’t think they are taking any type of steroids, but it just looks like, ‘Wow.’ Randy looked incredible. He’s got to weigh all of the two 275s that he claims he weighs. Now that that’s what they said is his listing. And if he is 275 men, he is jacked”.
“I mean that that kid looked like I saw him in the background with AJ. There was a shot of him showing his side profile. And Randy was in the back with all these abs and just jacked. And I was like, wow, these two guys are like the poster boys for you do not take steroids”.
Since Randy made his comeback on Survivor Series, fans are going crazy for the Legend Killer. After signing for the blue brand SmackDown, Randy is prepared to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship from the Leader of the Bloodline Roman Reigns. However, he is not the only superstar after the Tribal Chief, as “The Megastar” LA Knight and “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles also have score to settle with him.
Although it is still not confirmed who will face Roman Reigns on Royal Rumble, fans hope to see The Viper qualify for the challenge and be the man to dethrone The Tribal Chief.
