Sports agent declares LeBron James as GOAT citing constant Michael Jordan comparison

NBA agent Rich Paul recently responded to a comment made by Stephen Smith involving LeBron James and Michael Jordan. As it seems Paul won’t let the NBA GOAT debate end anytime soon because different people have different reasons, coupled with their affiliations with these superstars.

However, it seems Rich isn’t going to shift his stance for anything, as he once again affirms that LeBron James bears the GOAT status ahead of Michael Jordan. Hence, the question of who the real NBA GOAT is remains a topic of discussion among basketball enthusiasts.

Rich Paul’s bold claims for LeBron James over Michael Jordan

The ongoing debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James as the greatest of all time has had various twists over the years. Some debates even go beyond their basketball achievements. Rich Paul, a close friend of LeBron James, recently appeared on Gil’s Arena Show to share his perspective on this never-ending debate, offering a unique twist by referring to James as ‘platinum.’

“LeBron [James] is the first player to have to deal with a 24/7, 365 news cycle of sports and opinions from those that it’s not even capable or carry the expertise to give a valid opinion. That’s a whole other thing Mike never had to deal with because his hardest critic was probably, Peter Vecsey.”

Paul’s arguments strongly support LeBron James’ case. The founder of Klutch Sports Group believes that LeBron James deserves the edge due to his exceptional ability to handle criticism and navigate social media.

Just because Michael Jordan didn’t play in such an environment doesn’t necessarily mean he would have struggled in that regard. Hence, according to many basketball fans Paul might be right in his perception.
