Jey Uso reunites with Sami Zayn, kicks off solo WWE journey on Raw with a hug

After the departure of Roman Reign, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso, three of the story’s primary protagonists, viewers have been anxiously awaiting the next installment of bloodline characters. Despite Jey Uso’s departure from Bloodline and WWE, the two are still expected to make appearances in the ring separately.

Finally, the fact that Jey Uso, as Jimmy Uso did a day before, entered the RAW ring to a new theme line made Monday Night Raw special for everyone in attendance. On the episode of WWE RAW that aired on September 4, Jey Uso made his debut for the red brand for the first time. After leaving WWE due to family conflicts, he said that Cody Rhodes was pivotal in getting him signed with RAW.

Jey Uso addressed the WWE Raw audience upon his homecoming on Monday Night Raw, where he cut a promo about the challenges he has faced with family and the part Cody Rhodes had to play in getting him back in the ring.

Sami Zayn, who was a vital part of The Bloodline Saga and Jey’s closest buddy, came out of the wings with his theme song as he made his statement. He complimented Uso on his decision to leave The Bloodline and on his arrival at Raw.

Jey Uso initially seemed unwilling to accept Sami’s offer of a handshake after receiving his congratulations. However, Jey summoned Sami back, embraced him, and said that it wasn’t very Ucey of him to decline the handshake.

Sami was surprised by Jey’s response. The section ended with a bear hug between the two male leads. Later, Uso ran into Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle, and Zayn stepped in to resolve the conflict between them.

There have been speculations of future feuds for Jey Uso since Cody Rhodes brought him to RAW at Payback. One option is reuniting with Sami Zayn. Zayn won the Tag Team Championship from the Usos at WrestleMania, so a rivalry might develop from there.

Fans have also speculated that, in the absence of Chad Gable, Jey Uso may challenge Gunther for the singles title. A singles championship would be the icing on the cake for his choice to go it alone as a solo star.

The Usos’ tag team adventure was one of the best in WWE history. Do you believe Jey Uso can make an impact in WWE as a standalone star? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section.
