Tyson Fury gets mocked after sly dig at Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk: “The biggest Fake in heavy-weight history”

For fans, Joshua vs Fury is a much-anticipated Heavyweight bout. However, in the past, Fury has disregarded Joshua’s skillset to be capable enough to fight him and has made multiple negative remarks.

With Anthony Joshua set to face Francis Ngannou this Friday (March 8th) in Riyadh, Tyson Fury will also be present in the venue to support his brother Roman Fury, who is fighting in the undercard. Meanwhile, Tyson was fast to respond to Joshua’s previous comments on him.

Tyson Fury brutally slams Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk

Ahead of his bout scheduled with Oleksandr Usyk on May 18th, Tyson Fury fired back at Anthony Joshua after Joshua made remarks that he believes Usyk would take the win instead.

“I think Usyk will win, however I would logically want Fury to win as it means I have a bigger fight for me down the line. But I know he doesn’t want the fight,” said Joshua in an interview with IFL TV.

Tyson Fury was quick to shut down the comments from Joshua.

“Only in AJ dreams can usyk ever beat me.”, wrote Fury on Instagram.

This is not the first time that Tyson Fury has fired back at Anthony Joshua’s comments. In the past, Fury notoriously shut-down any potential matchup amongst the two and was also quick to disrespect Anthony Joshua’s credibility.

Back in September, Fury publicly mocked Joshua, describing the Londoner as a “gym sweeper”.

“There is no Anthony Joshua to me. He’s just a gym sweeper who gets beat up, he’s like an old journeyman now,” he told IFL TV.

With regards to Usyk, Tyson Fury has already slammed on him during the press conference ahead of the bout, and in the past.

“If you beat me in your dreams, you’re gonna wake up and apologize,” said Fury quoting the lines of the Muhammad ‘The Greatest’ Ali.

Fans mock Tyson Fury for AJ and Usyk remark

Boxing fans were quick to respond to Fury’s comments about Joshua and Usyk, calling Fury out for not accepting the matchups before and trying to duck them.

For fans, Fury’s run seems convenient, the backlash for which came pouring especially after Fury’s controversial decision win against Francis Ngannou last year. This is also due to the fact that both Joshua and Usyk are very skilled boxers and have called out Fury time and time again, but Fury seems to not want to risk his title.

Anthony Joshua has also passed very confident remarks, believing that he will take an easy win against Fury.

This situation has created frustration amongst boxing fans, wanting for Joshua to face Fury, but seeing that Fury does not seem that interested in making the bout.

However, this could change if Fury is to take win against Usyk, and if Joshua is to win against Ngannou. What are your predictions for the same? Does Joshua ever get to prove his skillset against Fury? Or does Ngannou shut down Joshua’s game?
