Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora 3: Dec. 3 to feature two Brit clash after Anthony Joshua talks over

Tyson Luke Fury, the two-time world heavyweight champion, has reversed his retirement decision and is set to be back in the ring. The British boxer has been in the ring 33 times and won 32 of them, with one draw against Deontay Wilder in 2018. Currently, the 34-year-old boxer is finalizing his opponent for his upcoming bout.

The gypsy king was in talks with the former two-time unified world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua about a 60%-40% profit share deal, but in late September the negotiation was called off. So, Mr. Fury was looking for a new opponent.

According to ESPN, the gold medal winner of the English National Championships at super-heavyweight is set to face Derek Chisora in a boxing trilogy bout for his comeback fight.

While rationalizing his comeback in boxing, Tyson stated: “I’ve decided to come back to boxing because I can be the first heavyweight world champion in history to have two trilogies. I’d always say I’d fight Derek Chisora at the end of my career.”

Derek Chisora, the British boxer, never touched any major boxing titles in his professional boxing career. Becoming a WBC heavyweight title challenger is his biggest achievement. The 38-year-old boxer featured in the ring 45 times while winning 33 of them with a knockout percentage of 70% and losing 12 times.

Tyson Fury had already competed in a trilogy fight against Deontay Wilder for the WBC and the Ring heavyweight title and faced Derek Chisora twice in his career. Their first bout took place at Wembley Arena, London, England and the gypsy king sealed the victory by a unanimous decision in 2011.

For their second face-off, they fought in 2014 and again the Irish-rooted British boxer secured the victory. And for the third time, these two are preparing themselves for a boxing trilogy bout for the WBC heavyweight title on December 3rd, 2022.
