The 42-year old Teixeira has had a fairytale run to the title, and had to overcome a lot of setbacks in order to reach the top. He has been a member of the UFC roster for 20 years, and is one of the highly respected fighters in the promotion.

His opponent Jiri Prochazka is a newcomer to the UFC, but has two spectacular knockouts in both his fights in the UFC. While some have criticized his fast tracked path to a title shot, there is no doubt that Porchazka will provide a formidable test for the Brazilian.

How much will Glover Teixeira make at UFC 275?

Teixeira is currently on a six-fight win streak. In his first fight of the streak, he took on Karl Roberson. In that fight, he made $190,000. The fight that got him the title shot was when Teixeira took on compatriot Thiago Santos. In that fight Glover made $225,ooo, which includes a bonus for performance of the night.

In his last fight against Jan Blachowicz, Teixeira made a total of $432,000. Hence, it is expected that Teixeira will be making $500,000 from his title defense.

How Much Will Jiri Prochazka make at UFC 275?

As we have said, Prochazka has taken the UFC by storm. In his first fight, he took on former title challenger Volkan Ozdemir. The Czech fighter make $153,000.

In his next fight, Porchazka went up against another former title challenger in Dominic Reyes. Jiri knocked him out viscously with a spinning elbow, and made $214,000- bonus included.
