UFC Vegas 39: Dern vs Rodriguez Fight Night Purse, Payout, Salaries

The UFC is returning to the UFC Apex for Vegas 39 event, in which fourth-ranked Mackenzie Dern will fight sixth-ranked Marina Rodriguez at the Women’s Strawweight main event.

Dern is a former No. 1 IBJJF competitor who ranked 12 in UFC women’s pound for pound table. She started her MMA career in July 2016. So far she appeared in 12 MMA bouts and won 11 of them. Her only professional loss came in October 20119 at UFC Fight Night: Joanna vs. Waterson against Amanda Ribas.

Rodriguez, on the other hand, began her MMA career in 2015 and played 17 matches. Among the 17 fights, she won 14 fights, lost 1 and the rest of the 2 fights was a draw. Rodriguez is known for her dangerous striking skills.

Colares’ total payout is $28,500 which includes $24,000 as base salary, $4,500 from sponsorship. Gutierrez’s total earning is $42,000 which includes $36,000 base salary, $6,000 from sponsorship.
