Gerard Pique got into new controversy when a video of him leaving his children off at their mother Shakira’s residence during terrible weather went viral.
After the high profile break up of famous Colombian singer Shakira and soccer player Pique, every journalist in the world is looking at every movement of the pair. They even camp outside the singer’s house to capture some newsworthy content.
The two children of the pair, Sasha and Milan spend some time of the week with their father. In the last instance, their father was seen leaving the kids at his ex-partner’s doorstep during heavy rain and quickly drove off without even closing the trunk. The kids had to wait till their mother opened the door, and got wet as a result. Milan was also carrying a heavy suitcase.

The clip was released by the Europa Press agency. The video sparked rage and controversy among viewers.
Some of the comments criticized the former Spanish soccer player brutally,
“It still baffles me that Shakira wasted 12 years for this man, the one that left the kids on their own, one of them struggling to carry the heavyweight bag,” one said. “What’s the hurry about, jobless?”
Another comment said, “What a horrible father, he doesn’t help them with their suitcases, nor says goodbye to them with love, and poor Milan could barely handle the suitcase,”
Gerard Pique had cheated on Shakira with Clara Chia and after the breakup with the singer, is now pursuing a relationship with Clara. Soon after the breakup both of the celebrities have been in the limelight for the wrong reasons. Bizarrap’s ‘Music Sessions #53’ featuring Shakira was a short music video where Shakira fired shots at both Pique and his new partner with lines like, “A she-wolf like me ain’t for dudes like you”, “You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo?”, “You traded a Rolex for a Casio?” Funnily enough, Pique drove to his new workplace in a Twingo car and even announced a partnership with Casio for his soccer tournament Kings League.
It seems that both of them will continue to be closely monitored by the press and among the former couple’s ongoing battles, it seems the kids will suffer the most.
