Joshua Emmett squared off against Yair Rodriguez earlier in the main event of UFC 284 at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, which featured Makhachev vs. Volkanovski as the headliner. Joshua’s incredible five-fight winning streak was broken by the Mexican fighter.
Ilia Topuria, who made his UFC debut in 2020, has never lost in professional mixed martial arts. With a victory over Bryce Mitchell, the 25-year-old fighter extended his winning run to 13.
Mitchell later revealed when he faced Topuria, he was sick with the flu, due to which his six-match winning streak came to an end. ‘El Matador’ and ‘Thug Nasty’ engaged in a spirited duel, but in the end, Thug Nasty accepted the defeat.

Emmett, who made his professional debut in 2016 and defeated Jon Tuck by a split decision, went on to have great success by demonstrating incredible MMA prowess.
The veteran featherweight beat Mirsad Bektic, Michael Johnson, Shane Burgos, Dan Ige, and Calvin Kattar during his winning streak of five fights.
Topuria, other than Bryce, has defeated Youssef Zalal, Damon Jackson, Ryan Hall, and Jai Herbert in his UFC career. The 25-year-old fighter’s pro-MMA career record stands at 13-0-0.
